IBIC/BIC/BISAC Classification & Keywording

The NEWBOOKS classification is a classification scheme for the specialist book trade. All titles are equipped with accurate BIC, BISAC and IBIC compatible subject headings, comprehensively displayed and made readily accessible in a customer-oriented way. Publishers can retrieve their titles as ONIX files equipped with BIC and BISAC codes to seamlessly connect with the worldwide market. The classification consists of a selection of 50 subject categories and 2,200 subject sub-categories, and is further refined into approx. 120,000 standardised keywords for even more precise search results.
